How to use Grammarly For Mac?
Previously, Grammarly allowed you to use its desktop app editor to check your document directly.
However, now you can use it across your applications, but if you want to scan your content for errors properly, you will be redirected to the online editor.
If you are used to Grammarly’s online editor, you don’t have to worry about Grammarly for Mac having a different user interface or settings.
Honestly, it works just the same with similar options!
You can start typing, and Grammarly will be activated. You can also change the settings from the pop-up icon below.
Additionally, I love how Grammarly allows you to move the icon and place it anywhere you want.
I especially don’t like it when an icon overlaps with my texts. But since I can move around the icon, it makes writing easier!

Grammarly’s user interface is similar everywhere, which is why I absolutely love it. If you are using Grammarly on your Mac, the settings are similar to the other versions. Once you activate Grammarly, you will notice the Grammarly icon popping up.
Since it’s activated, Grammarly will automatically start marking grammar mistakes with red. You can tap on the errors to make changes as suggested by Grammarly.

The Grammarly Plagiarism detector tool is accurate. However, it is not entirely reliable. It comes in handy for students who want to check their assignments. But if you are a professional, I wouldn’t recommend relying totally on its plagiarism checker.

1. Using Grammarly for Mac on Notes
I prefer to use the Notes app a lot. While writing, it is evident that you are going to make mistakes.
Luckily, you can check content through Grammarly on the Notes app, too!
It underlines all the errors, and you can tap on the error to check for the changes. Similarly, it also shows the Grammarly icon below, through which you can check for changes.
One of my favorite features of Grammarly, when I’m writing in my Notes, is that it lets me turn it off for a while.
This comes in handy when you want to write without having Grammarly underline things.

Is Grammarly Worth Downloading on Mac? (My Honest Experience)
Okay, now let’s come to the most important question -is it worth downloading Grammarly on your Mac?
The answer to this question is yes if you use your Mac for all your tasks.
However, if you prefer using Chrome or Safari, you can download Grammarly for Safari and Chrome instead.
For instance, I used Chrome a lot before. Therefore, I downloaded the extension for Chrome, and it worked just fine. Same for Safari. If you are also a Chrome user, you can check out Grammarly for Chrome.
But now I use other applications on my Mac for writing, which is why I prefer using the desktop application for Mac.
The only disappointing part was that it didn’t work on WhatsApp. Furthermore, even with the premium version, I cannot check for plagiarism.
If I have to check for plagiarism, it redirects me to the online editor.
So, depending on your use case, you can decide if you should go with Grammarly on your Mac.
However, if you are a student, I’d recommend downloading Grammarly for Mac 100%.
