In a survey conducted by Wunderman Thompson , it was found that Gen Alpha gave the highest priority to their family.  Friends was the second highest priority with a 43% share of votes.

  1. Gen Alpha is spending more time in front of the screen. 

After spending two crucial years at home during the pandemic, most Gen Alphas have become addicted to screens. They prefer to spend their time gaming and scrolling through social media apps.

Children between 8 and 12 years spend an average of 4 hours and 44 minutes in front of a screen. This increases to  7 hours 22 minutes for those aged 13 to 18.

  1. Audio content, like podcasts, music, etc., has witnessed a 10% rise in consumption compared to 2022. 

GWI adds that Gen Alpha doesn’t only like visual content, but it also values audio content. Many children from the Gen Alpha category prefer to listen to comedy,  productivity, and gaming-related podcasts.

With the increased exposure to social media applications like TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, etc., most teens spend most of their time on these apps and post every detail of their lives.

When asked about it, 11% of the teens said it made them feel good. At the same time, 19% of Gen Alpha teens said that it made them share their real lives with the people and the difficulties and the experiences they are going through.
